A Little About Our Past

EXAPRO Company Limited is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and was established in May 1995 (as Metrofield/MF Engineering) in order to serve the increasing demand for Technical Services in the country. The company started out both in supply and contracting in the Radio Communication and Electrical-mechanical field. In February 1998 at a time when deployment of Mobile Telecommunications started increasing, the company extended its services to telecommunication clients offering Installation and the Commissioning of telecommunication equipment, whilst acquiring Distributor Agreements with the Major Manufacturers and suppliers of Telecommunication Equipment and expanding into associated sectors of Civil Engineering and Power Systems.

Today, Exapro is a Diversified Services Provider, specializing in Telecoms Installation and Commissioning, Specialist construction and General Engineering.
A core part of our business is Telecoms and not only do we aim to be the best Telecommunication Service Provider and Supplier in Cambodia, we believe we're achieving it and our ever increasing portfolio of works within the telecoms sector proves we're getting right.
Our mission is to get it right the first time every time and to provide our customers with a Total Solution from design to the opening ceremony, be it a BTS tower, a Solar Installation, building a Data Centre or even a Hotel.

As one of the longest established Telecoms and Engineering companies in Cambodia, we've developed a varied and wide ranging skill set.

We provide Telecommunication and Data infrastructure, taking projects from land survey, through design and build through to handover, operations and facilities maintenance. We provide an all encompassing service from start to finish and can even manage the project on your behalf.

We don't just stop at telecom and data sites, we also build commercial property, Hotels, Restaurants and Bars and our full service approach means that we can provide you with a finished project starting from a drawing to placing the last glass on the shelf ready to open.

Solar Power Systems

Design and Installation of stand alone and grid-tied Solar Power Systems. Ideal for remote sites, providing backup power or simply saving money from your EDC bill.

Civil & Construction

Building and construction works undertaken to Western Standards from telecom infrastructure to Roadways, Hotels and Restaurants, using modern materials and intelligent design.

Tower Erection

Having provided Radio and Telecommunication services in Cambodia for over 25 years, Tower Erection and associated equipment installations is one of our core services.

Facilities Maintenance

By way of Service Contract or a one off repair, we provide Facilities Management, Equipment Servicing, Maintenance and Repairs for most equipment, Commercial and Domestic.

Site Acquisition

Along with Locating and acquiring a suitable Site for your Project, we also provide Risk Consultancy, Soil and Ground testing / topography services should you require them.

Installations

Business or private, we undertake many installations such as Diesel Generators and Air Conditioning, including being the sole distributors for Lionrock Generators.

Telecoms

Our telecoms services are the most comprehensive on offer in Cambodia, from fixed line, fibre and data, to the full range of mobile installations and In Building Solutions (IBS).

MEP

We are your ideal MEP contractor for your project, given the depth of technical knowledge that we bring, alongside our depth of resource and supporting skills within the company.

Some of our milestones...

1992 - Entered Cambodia

Entered Cambodia and worked with COMPAC AWA Co. Ltd., a subcontractor to UN mission in Cambodia in Facility Maintenance.
1995 - Metrofield Engineering Founded

Founded Metrofield Engineering and started contracting work as MEP and in Radio communications. Supplied and serviced Motorola & CODAN radio equipment.
1998 - Telecommunications

Entered into Telecommunication projects by installation of DC power systems including Solar power. Installation and Commissioning of BTS & Microwave System.
2006 - Camgsm Mobitel

Awarded contract for Planned Maintenance of BTS sites under Camgsm Mobitel project
2007 - First 3G

Awarded contract to install and commission first 3G project in Cambodia under Ericsson Thailand - QB project
2011 - Full Construction Division

Although carrying out construction works for many years, the company diversified its services to open up a general construction division. Construction Division's first major contract being construction of a hotel and apartment complex.
2015 - First 4G

Awarded contract for installation and commissioning of first 4G VoLTE technology under ZTE-Seatel project.
2019 - Cambodian Fire Safety

In partnership with AFPE Cambodia, Exa-Pro have been instrumental in the creating and ratiying of the Cambodia Fire Safety Systems - Building Design Code.

Exa-Pro CEO Andrew Wallace is also the Vice President of AFPE Cambodia and the author of the Cambodia Fire Safety Systems - Building Design Code.

As the authors of the Cambodian Fire Safety Code and Vice President of the umbrella organization that oversees all fire safety matters, it puts Exa-Pro in the unique position of being able to offer Fire Safety Design consultaion services with direct access to the responsible organization and always with the most up-to-date information.
